1. Erin Brockovich's aggressive pursuit for a job stems from her being a single mom. Taking care of three kids is a hard job itself, from the physical and mental labor to the amount of money it can take. I feel that Erin sense of right and wrong is greater than the Average American, as she has had to fight to get where she is and understands discrimination and injustice. Erin is pushy, but she's pushy in order to survive. Every move she makes is to support her children.
2. Ed Mansey was not such a great lawyer at the beginning of the film. He cared mostly about money and his reputation rather than the lives of people he was helping. Over the course of the film, he changes into a different man who gains respect and values other's well-being.
3. Erin Brockovich has a great work ethic. She takes pride and dedication in her work and went out of her way to investigate the case on her own time. I feel that Erin felt she was more than just an assistant, but a defense attorney. She carried herself and her work at a higher level than what was expected for her position.
4 I agree with Erin Brockovich that PG&E should give more money to the hurting families. When PG&E's lawyer gave their low offer, Erin Brockovich responded with asking how much they value their body.
