Julia English Erin Brockovich

1. Erin Borckovich works as hard as she does because she knows she has to support her children. Her personality reflects on her love for her children, and her persistence to get her job and Ed Masrys law firm shows her real work ethic and how much she is will to fight for not only what she needs, but what she wants and whats right. Now here sense of right and wrong is probably very different then everyone else because she lives a different life financially. something that she may see as the right way to handle a situation (using profanity) may seem wrong to others. Erin does what she needs to do to survive and doesn't let people view her as less than them. I learned from this movie not to judge people by the way they look or dress.

2. Ed Masry seems like a nice old man, but at the beginning of the film it didn't seem like her truly wanted to help Erin or had any faith in her. He gave her a job because he felt bad and fired her because he didn't bother calling and asking where she was. From his character I can truly see that all the names and mean comments Erin said to him were true because he probably would have treated a more conservative person with more respect.

3. I believe that Erin Brockovich has a very good work ethic because she cares so much. During the PG&E case, she made house calls, and memorized all of her clients phone numbers. That shows her true comment to her job, especially when she let George go because she shouldn't just leave her job behind. Even when she was only a temp, she worked as though she had been doing this for years. When she didn't understand something, she researched it or asked for help (though help wasn't walkways given).

4. I agree with the way Erin handled the PG&E meeting because she had good reasoning. These people were sick and lied to. She walked in there and told them what was going on, and said they deserve more money. My favorite thing about Erin is the way she doesn't let people push her around and is so honest.
