I think that The Profit with Marcus Lemonis is a better format for an entrepreneur to participate in because instead of having to pitch an idea to a couple of mean rich people, Marcus actually makes it his job to find good businesses and help them grow. The Profit is better because he actually cares about your business and his main goal isn't take make a lot of money and takeover the business. If I had my own business (a bakery) I would much rather work with Marcus Lemonis than the investors on Shark Tank because I think it shows that my business would actually have to be good for him to approach me, rather than pitching an idea to the investors on shark tank who could say my idea is awful. Also, Shark Tank is more for unique ideas where Marcus deals with more generic but cool businesses. Marcus will invest as much money as he feels they your business needs and we be present in the making and construction of your business. The Sharks will simply give you money and put a royalty on the amount they give you or expect you to pay them a percent of the income you make.
