After watching Shark Tank and Marcus Lemonis I feel that the Shark Tank is a much better investment. The investors on Shark Tank are preferable to Marcus Lemonis because they provide better deals. This means that the “sharks”, investors, give better deals to business owners because they have to compete between each other if they agree the business opportunity presented is a good one. This competition means the business owner will also get the viewpoint of different experts. On the other hand, Marcus Lemonis only presents one perspective and demands a much higher margin of profit. Marcus Lemonis could be better than Shark Tank in one way, which is turning around a failing business. If no necessity arises then Shark Tank is the obviously better choice. If I were to own a business it would probably have to do with renting products to consumers. I feel that a rental business would fare better on Shark Tank because the “sharks” bring their individual expertise to better a product. With multiple ideas being presented I would be able to decide what path I would want my product to go down. The perspective given by the “sharks” and the competitiveness of Shark Tank make it the better show for a business owner.
