Shark Tank v. the Profit
12/23/2016

I believe that Shark Tank is a better way to invest than Marcus Lamonis. This is because with Lamonis you automatically have to give up 50% of your company which can be a serious loss, but with Shark Tank you can pick from multiple investors, each with different skills and resources and connections that could be utilized depending on your product. This means that it is easier to support your product than with Lamonis, which is a major difference between the two investment opportunities. Another big difference which would make me want to use Shark Tank is that in Shark Tank you don't have to take 1 person's deal and you can kind of negotiate and use one investor off the other, but with Lamonis you just have one person with a deal that is take it or leave it. With shark tank there is a lot more flexibility, making it a more attractive investing option. If I have a business it would be a collector's sports shoes/cleats store that would have different customized sports cleats and shoes. With that business I would definitely choose Mark Cuban of Shark Tank as the person to invest with because he already has both feet in the sports world as the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and I could surely potentially have Mavs players advertize my gear.
