Budgeting was a huge factor for Alex and Morgan. Because of their measly pay check, they were in desperate need of a budget. When the two of them first started the journey, they did not realize how money was supposed to be distributed and used properly. The budget that they had was their own pay checks. Their pay checks began to run their lives. Budgeting is something that is a necessary component to a healthy life. But with the budget that they have, they needed to live with a lot of caution. The couple kept a close eye on their money, causing a massive amount of stress on them.
Question #8, Define who the "working class" are?:
The working class are the group of people who need to work day to day in order to survive through the week. This class is one that is as least stable as stable can be. I say this because while they can survive, they cannot truly live. This group is the bottom class in the eye of our country. Many people will say that the working class is the back bone of our country. They say this because this class does the jobs that nobody else wants to do, but they do them because of their financial situation. In the documentary, the host becomes part of the working class in order to understand the everyday struggles that they are forced to go through. Many of these people feel that there is no way out, mainly because they are in financial need.
The working class consists of many immigrants. These are people who are new to the country and forced to do unwanted jobs in order to survive. They are generally uneducated. Because of this most of the jobs mostly require physical labor and other easily learned tasks that do not require the workers to have a higher education.-Nadav
