Shonah Dancey (Living For 30 Days on Minimum Wage)

30 Days on Minimum Wage

9) I think that Alex became so emotional about the services that were given to her and Morgan at The Free Store because she hadn't expected the kindness that they showed her. She had been struggling so much during the experience, especially without furniture. The Free Store showed   great generosity, as well as the generosity of strangers who donated to the store in the first place.

10) On minimum wage, unless a medical problem is life threatening or severely affecting your life, it can be cared for at home. Pain relievers are your friend and are much cheaper (obviously) than going to the ER. If you have kids you put them before everything--even yourself. In order to feed, clothe, and keep my kids healthy, I would forgoe medical care unless it was dire.
