Question 3: Yes. Race was a huge factor for finding an apartment for Morgan and Alex.  I know this because in reality today  its harder for African Americans and hispanics to get jobs from other races.   White privilege has  the most power out of any race in todays world. I remember going to the corner with my friends because it was too many black people but then when a white group came they let them in. As the same with finding the apartment, and they had no kids so that made it a little easier for them to get the apartment. I think if morgan and alex were black the landlord wouldnt have told them about the homeless person and that crackhouse that was their before they came.
