I think Markus Lemonis is a better investor die to the fact that he solves partnership problems with his clients and financial issues in companies like sweet Pete's. Markus invested his money in a company that he took under his wing and took partnership in because of an unequal partnership.

If had my own business it would be owning a restaurant because i like to cook and I'd call it "Garnish Seasons" and I'd want to invest my business with Markus Lemonis because i feel like he would be able to advertise the business globally and he would find ways to make the business grow.

The difference between Markus Lemonis and the investors on Shark tank is that Markus doesn't take over the company he splits the business 50-50 and he works to earn profit in the company/Business he is investing in and he finds ways to advertise the business and he checks for errors in the company . The Investors of shark tank all have a certain catch to how they choose to invest in companies.
